The UCSF Student Implant Program offers affordable dental implants and crowns with a high level of supervision and the highest quality parts and materials. To qualify for the program, patients must have a stable “bite,” healthy mouth, and require implants in either the premolar or molar areas. Patients must be screened by faculty and receive a full comprehensive oral exam including X-rays, photos and models of your teeth.
The student implant program will not restore or service implants done at another dental office, will not restore any implants with dentures or partial dentures, nor restore any front teeth.
If your case is too complex, you may have the option of being seen in another specialty clinic within UCSF Dental Center.
Our predoctoral students are closely guided by group practice leaders, who oversee treatment planning and restorative steps, and faculty from Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
