Dr. Roberta Jurash is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. She provides expert care at UCSF's Center for Orofacial Pain and Dental Sleep Medicine and also maintains a private practice specializing in Orofacial Pain and Dental Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Jurash began her professional career as a Physical Therapist at Stanford University Hospital. Her passion for patient care led her to pursue dentistry at the prestigious UCSF School of Dentistry, where she graduated with distinction in 2004. For the next 15 years, she practiced general dentistry in Palo Alto, where she naturally integrated her skills in physical therapy and dentistry to focus on TMJ disorders.
Recognizing the need for advanced expertise to better serve her patients, Dr. Jurash earned a Master’s Degree in Orofacial Pain and achieved board certification in Dental Sleep Medicine. These qualifications have enabled her to address complex cases of Orofacial Pain with a unique, multidisciplinary perspective.
Dr. Jurash is among the few Board-Certified Orofacial Pain specialists in the San Francisco Bay Area who also holds Board Certification in Dental Sleep Medicine.
