Dr. Yi Lin is originally from Guangzhou, China.
She graduated from dental school with a National Scholarship of Excellence, followed by an Orthodontics Certificate and a master's degree in oral science in 2015, both at Sun Yat-sen University.
She’s also dedicated to research, leading several projects including one on bone regeneration of the temporomandibular joint during her PhD in craniofacial science at McGill University in Canada.
Dr. Yi Lin came to San Francisco in 2019 for an Orthodontic Fellowship at UCSF. She enjoys living here in the Golden State with tremendous cultural diversity and decided to continue her career in California as an orthodontist.
She aspires to incorporate her research in temporomandibular joint diseases with her orthodontic practice and strives to provide optimal orthodontic care for patients.
