Dr. Diana K. Nguyen is a Health Sciences assistant clinical professor in the Department of Preventive and Restorative Dental Sciences at the UCSF School of Dentistry.
Dr. Nguyen graduated from Columbia University and received her DDS from the New York University College of Dentistry. Following her training at NYU, she successfully completed a general practice residency at Yale. Prior to transitioning to a full-time career in academia, she worked in private practice in San Diego.
At UCSF, Dr. Nguyen is a group practice leader in the predoctoral student clinic and course director of Patient Centered Care 146: Advanced General Dentistry.
In addition to teaching at UCSF, Dr. Nguyen serves on the board of directors of the San Francisco Dental Society. She is a published author of peer-reviewed research and writing related to the dental profession. In recognition of her contributions to dentistry and community health, Dr. Nguyen has received numerous academic and professional awards.
