Dr. Charles McNeill is a professor emeritus in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the director of the Center for Orofacial Pain and Dental Sleep Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain and a fellow of the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists. Dr. McNeill is a member of the OKU Dental Honor Society and is an Honorary member of the American Academy of Oral Medicine. He is a member and former president of both the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry and the American Academy of Orofacial Pain and is a past editor of the Journal of Orofacial Pain. He has authored many articles, abstracts and book chapters, edited four books and lectured extensively on the subjects of TMD, orofacial pain and occlusion.
